Although I really enjoyed all of the Terminator movies, I especially liked Salvation, particularly because of Christian Bale.
Interestingly, April 19 is a day that has wreaked a lot of havoc, vengeance, turmoil, and tumult throughout history, so it's not surprising that day was chosen for SkyNet becoming away.
Most recently it was the day of the Oklahoma City bombing, but it also marked the day the ATF moved in on Waco, and while the Columbine shooting anniversary is actually today, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold actually had planned it for the 19th.
Further back in history, the Protestant Reformation started, the "shot heard 'round the world" was fired at Lexington and Concord starting the American Revolution, and lots of smaller uprisings and assaults occurred. The Baltimore riots of 1861 occurred, Palestinian riots against the Jews in 1936, and the Warsaw Ghetto uprising in 1943. Calamities include the USS Iowa gun turret exploding in 1989.
Thank goodness we survived yesterday in relative quiet.
